I remember the day meeting M&T for the initial consult like it was yesterday…after a couple emails back and forth the week prior, I knew I was going to adore them instantly. So as we sat there, chatting about their love story, their love for sports (especially baseball and football!) and the vision they had for their big day, it felt more like life-long friends catching up rather than a work meeting – so natural and filled with laughter. I loved that! Each email, phone call, and coffee date was a treat…I couldn’t recall a meeting that didn’t have me leaving with sore sides from laughing so much.
M&T’s big day was what I liked to call DIY magic. The bride knocked it out of the park with her homemade floral arrangements, bouquets (you heard me right!), décor, games, cupcake tower, backdrop…you name it, she made it happen, and it was amazing! The laughter and sports talk we had in our meetings carried into the wedding day, which made it one of the most personalized and intimate weddings of the year.
Getting excited for the big day!
Amongst all the hustle and bustle of this full house, the bride enjoyed every moment of getting ready with her closest ladies
Looking gorgeous, ladies!! Loving the bright robes and big smiles!!
She got the dress of her dreams, and finally gets to wear it to marry the love of her life
A musician for the ceremony is always such an amazing touch! They happened to be very close friends with this artist, which made it that much more special
The moment right before she walks down the aisle!
Seeing each other for the first time all day – you can just feel the love!
I don’t think we’ve ever laughed and cried so much during a ceremony before (such softies, everytime!) but the bride’s reaction to his vows were priceless. Swoon!
The ring exchange is always one of our favorite parts of the ceremony…
…and so is the first kiss!!
The bride surprised her new hubby by serenading to him. It was a song from one of their favorite movies – she was so nervous! – but she nailed it!!
Congratulations! Now it is time for the party to begin
While the rest of the guests were enjoying cocktails and canapes, the wedding party snuck over to Van Dusen Gardens next door for their formal photos
These guys were an absolute riot and so much fun to get to know
Despite the endless laughter and antics, they still got in a some suave shots
Another great example of perfectly mismatching dresses! All the same color, but different tops and lengths! Everyone had a dress that was perfect for them – and how stunning do they all look?
Everyone knew each other quite well, so every photo was so effortless and came out looking simply incredible!
Everyone took the photo time very seriously…
…but this was the reality of the day!
Isn’t she stunning? As I mentioned before, she put together the bouquet herself! It fit so perfectly with the dress and the gardens
Reenacting a photo they took during their engagement session…but wedding version! Doesn’t this remind you of a fairytale?
They rented gorgeous white chiavari chairs for all the guest tables, dressed them with crisp white linens and homemade floral arrangements. Such refreshing colors and the perfect summer mix!
A closeup of the fresh flowers – they were put in jars so they were easy for guests to take home after
The windows to the restaurant let in a nice breeze to keep everything as cool as possible on this warm day
During the grand entrance, each wedding party member was introduced with their sporting ‘stats’ before the bride and groom made their entrance. Everyone was amped up for their arrival – the crowd went wild!
The speeches throughout the dinner were absolutely hilarious – every single one, back to back, had each guest in stitches!
After the sweetest first dance ever, the rest of the night was one wild party! Everyone had the most amazing time killing it on the dancefloor…the end of the night was full of hugs, thank you’s, high fives and more hugs!!
“Jeanine, you have been amazing throughout this entire process! Thank you for your patience, willingness to accommodate, and overall just wonderful personality! This wedding would have been a disaster without you, real talk…thank you so much – M&T”
