When this Andrew and Margaret came to us, they were looking for a team to be able to bring together the creative vision they had already began designing themselves, and to have someone strong enough to take over the reins when it got closer to the wedding date to bring their hard work to life. Niche made the perfect match on both accounts, full décor and floral design with wedding management. We began our wonderful journey with them on the road to wedding bliss!
The wedding was on the larger side – hitting nearly 200 guests – but they wanted to keep the day intimate, so they decided to keep the wedding party small with just a best man and maid of honor. The day was long and full of events, but we made sure to include lots of time for them to kick back, relax, and enjoy the day to the fullest!
This wedding was all about the blending of traditions, where Chinese and Western met.
With such a sharp looking groom, it was mandatory to have only the most lavish boutonniere to match!
Can you just feel the excitement and anticipation while she waits to walk the aisle? We work hard to ensure that the entrance of the bride is just as dramatic and flawless as the movies, and that the groom doesn’t even get a peep of what she looks like until she is walking that aisle!
Their Catholic ceremony took place at the stunning St Peter and Paul Parish in Vancouver, and it could not have been more beautiful. We all agreed, that his church did not need much in terms of decoration, it had its own beauty! And the acoustics from the string trio? Oh, it just danced through the church so magically!
Newlyweds at last!
Each guest was made to feel welcome to the occasion and well loved – we recommended handing out secret birthday and anniversary gifts, and they took our advice and ran with it! The thoughtfulness that goes into the details is what really captures the day to a T!
Their wish was our command – this wedding ran exactly on time, right down to the 5 minute mark the entire day! This meant lots of time for photos, dancing, and extra kisses.
We were all thrilled and their guests had the most wonderful time, watching the sunset and partying over Coal Harbour until late. This view is one of a kind – and we look forward to our next wedding at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
