Working with close friends is always such a dream – the natural chemistry is beautiful and effortless, which leads to the most memorable events. When J&L asked us to bring their wedding décor and floral vision to life, we were honored. Not only was the bride and groom personal friends, but the rest of the team who helped bring together their day were great friends as well. How lucky are we?
The wedding was taking place at Cecil Green Park House in Vancouver, one of our favorite venues, and a dream for any Vancouver decorator and florist! Tying in the lush gardens, and the history of the building, the concept was elegant and garden inspired, with a fresh pop of color! Burgundy and gold tones always has that feeling of royalty, doesn’t it?
The day started with an outdoor ceremony, using Cecil Green Park House as a fantastic backdrop. We accented this already incredible garden with a chandelier, blush draping, and luscious greenery arrangements to tie it all back
We added little pops of white with a mix of white roses, garden roses, and lisianthus
Perfectly lined up, all ready to go!
The aisle was lined with bundles of white roses, pink spray roses, and greenery. How cute!
This bouquet was one of our favorites – peonies, garden roses, and a few burgundy tulips. How dreamy is this?
The bridesmaids carried a more delicate version of the bridal bouquet…but their smiles were just as big!!
We have a love for harvest tables, and this arrangement was so much fun to put together!
Cute, compote centerpieces, complete with gold antique charger plates and blush napkins
The headtable was centered in front of the fireplace and show stopping mantle
This sweetheart arrangement was the perfect addition to the headtable amongst the bouquets and candles!
A pretty mantle deserves some pretty attention. Once the sun went down, the candles created the most beautiful glow!
This cute cake set just needed a little touch of fresh flowers and a sparkly overlay, and it was perfect!
Did we mention how much we love harvest tables? We dressed these long tables to match, but added height and drama with gold candelabras topped with lavish arrangements
It doesn’t take much of an accent color to make a gorgeous statement! We love the romantic balance of the soft tones verses the burgundy.
Bird’s eye view!
Everyone took home the cutest cupcakes (baked by mom!) as wedding favors – they were displayed in teacups, on saucers, and books from the brides home!
It was such a pleasure to be part of an amazing day surrounded by, and work alongside, so many close friends. The whole journey was fun, relaxed, and delightful as we all came together creatively as a team. Thank you to J&L and congratulations on your big day!! All the love and more!
